Started in time to reach th 10:30 Fiskebøl-Melby ferry. In fact, yesterday was the only day with a ferry so far! In total I have taken 11 ferries in 9 days. The ferries are a nice way to relax for a while, and buy something good.

My idea was to take an easy trip to Sortland today, only 75 km. But when I saw the weather forecast, I decided to push for another 40 km to Buksnesfjord, 17 km south of Risøyhamn where the Hurtiguten stops. Better 40 km more today in dry weather than tomorrow in rain. Today was clouded an chilly (8-10 degrees), but dry. Mainly a headwind of 4-5 m/s. You don't use much extra power for that, the speed is just reduced a bit.

Tomorrow I'll continue to Andenes, in the north of Andøya, the island across the fjord from my current position. From there a ferry to the next island, Senja. 

It looks like a lot up and down today also, but most of the climbs are less than 30 m. The narrowest peaks are bridges that often are around 30 m high and very steep.

Close-up of the bridge. Here you wish the ships were a bit lower. It was a bit challenging to ride up here because of a rather strong side wind. Together with low speed, you become slightly unstable.
