The ferry was further away than I thought, so missed it. It just came back from the other side. I asked the ferryman, and yes, had to wait until 10, almost an hour. But I was invited for a coffee, great service. Then it turned out he was Dutch! So we had a nice e chat sipping our coffee.
At 09.38 a nurse turned up, had to be at her next visit soon. So we left, that is how it works in Fjone. I love that flexibility.
Heavy clouds far down the granite walls around lake Nisser indicated what was ahead.
So half an hour of rain before I arrived at Hans' house in Vrådal. I have done a number of projects in Asia and Africa with Hans, who is now retired and lives in Vrådal. I always greatly enjoyed to work with Hand, and really enoyed to see him again. An what a welcom, got a lot of good food, he drove me around, we visited Vest Telemark Museum and finally he invited me to a wonderful dinner at the hotel. Thanks a lot, Hans, and make sure to visit me in Trondheim so I can pay you back.
