Departure from Trondheim, i.e. biking to the railway station looked to become a wet affair, getting me soaked before even starting. What else could you expect. But my always supportive and loving wife offered to drive me to the railway station. Gladly accepted, thanks Anbjørg. Cheating a bit? Well, maybe.
Straight forward to get the bike on board, but had to take off the luggage. 6 pieces of it. Slightly tricky to manouver though the train. So a loooong day in the train, starting 0818 and arriving 2110 in Kristiansand. It's a big country with slow trains... But a nice slow day. Finally time to read some reports also. Always feels good. And learned something as well: always thought that Sørlandsbanen followed the coast between Oslo and Kristiansand. It doesn't.
Now I really look forward to start biking. Weather forecast is good, slightly windy, but mainly from the side. We'll see, take it easy, no records to break.
