20.06 Kristiansand - Lindesnes - Spangereid

125 km, 7 hours 41 min cycling, 16,3 km/h, 1808 m gross ascent

From Kristiansand to Lindesnes, the most Southern point of mainland Norway. In fact that is the start of the tour, going there is just warming up. So backing up 12 more km to Spangereid, couldn't find a hut, so use the tent. Fair enough when I carry it all the way.
Today's ups: 1) wonderful tour along Norway's southern cost, with pitoresque villages, deep blue bays, white houses and not to forget all the beautiful flowers on the roadside. 2) Great weather.

Today's downs: 1) couldn't find the way out of Kristiansand and was back where I started after half an hour.  2) You must pay 75 NOK to walk to Lindesnes firehouse. It's not that I can'afford it, but it posses me off. And to be honest, I was pretty worn out, not really interester in more climbing ☺. 3) Yoneed a 2kronecoifor a hoshoweathcamping. Whcarriethosthesdays? Not me. Cold shower.

Today's surprises: 1) I hardly passed a single shop (exception Mandal), no cafes, no restaurants.  Pretty basic. 2) Lindesnes was 110 km instead of 80, so a bit behind schedule.
Today's challenges: 1) 1800 gross meters ascent! 2) Quite a lot of headwind.
Lessons learnt: don't think you can read the gps map without spectacles, prepare the route, don't there will be Sykkelrute Nr 1 signs everywhere, especially around the towns.
