After one relaxing day on a camping, I decided that cycling before noon should work. Started at seven and reached camping Domaine Les Peupliers around 10:30 after a coffee break in Tinténiac, a small pictoresque village close by.
At seven I guess it was around 20 degrees, pleasant cycling. Nice and easy route along the Canal d'Ille et Rance, which runs largely parallel to the small Rance river.

| Quite a few locks in the canal |
| The locks seem to be manually served (and don't carry very large ships) |
While I'm writing this in the afternoon, it is REALLY HOT again.
| Dutch news note saying yesterday was the hottest day ever measured in France. I was there! |
| Red alert |
| I will try to get past Rennes tomorrow |
42 km that took me 2:30 hours. Total distance 1211 km.
