So I changed the title of my blog! I intend to bike to Nordkapp in June, finally completing the whole tour, hopefully. To be better prepared than last year, I try to take a couple of longer trips.
Today, a nice round to Jonsvatnet, Selbu and back, partly on roads I never had been on before! And interesting contrasts in the early spring.
126 km, 7 hours 02 min cycling, 17,9 km/h, 1950m total ascent and descent
| Incredible amount of ascent here. One Mt Ventoux in fact |
| Still ice on Jonsvatnet, at only 150m |
| The gravel road not yet very suitable for biking. Fortunately only 6 km |
| Snow melting gives great waterfalls |
| Fortunately I did not need to take this side road at 450 m. Lots of snow here! |
| But further down spring is coming |
| Selbusjøen |
| Back in Trondheim, the old iron railway bridge is open |
